Monthly Reflections: September

Welcome to my monthly reflections! This is my journal space, where I share my monthly highs and lows of running my business as a solo founder, whilst navigating life as a girl in her 30s, who loves to not take life too seriously whilst also having existential thoughts most days.

So this is what’s been going on for me in September…

Maternity Leave

September has been my last officially month at work before I go on maternity leave from October 2025 to January 2026.

**Cut to me feeling quite emotional writing this**

This feels like such a momentous moment and I don’t quite have the words for it right now but I hope to share in the future all the incredible realisations I have had through pregnancy.

I have honestly loved being pregnant so much, it has been such a privilege to experience growing my baby and I have been extremely fortunate to have felt really good most of the time (obviously there have been a few difficult days too but that is just life).

It has been such a reminder of how important it is to prioritise myself, to check in with my needs, listen to my body, slow down even more, let go of control and lean into trust. And I know I would not be feeling so good mentally if I had not had coaching, therapy, worked on my mindset and learnt how to regulate my nervous system.

I have been prepping for some time off, wrapping up with clients and really taking things slow.

So what’s next? 3 months of chilling, being, soaking in the newborn bubble, cuddles, baking, roasts, walks and joy filled cosy days.

A Little Experiment

If you’re one of my clients, I have probably encouraged you to do little experiments in your life. We can learn SO much from trying something new.

So my experiment for the next 3 months for myself is to delete all social media apps. My accounts are still going to be here and I may pop in if I really want to. It’s not about me showing up and sharing, it’s that I have such a strong desire not to be constantly taking in information and content. I feel that we are completely overloaded, and I want to see what happens if I give my brain a bit of a break. I’m excited to see what ideas come to me, how my creativity flows, how my life changes.

When I first thought about this I’m not going to lie I felt a lil bit scared but then I felt such an overwhelming feeling of excitement. And I know I need to trust that stepping away for a while will be ok.

I can’t wait to share with you how I’ve found this! Would love to hear if you’ve deleted social media apps from your phone and how you found it.

The Reset Masterclass

I hosted The Reset Masterclass and I was blown away with the feedback. It seemed this is exactly what people needed, and I remembered how much I love sharing my knowledge, advice and insights.

If you’re in need of a reset and want some of my motivating energy while I’m off Instagram, then I highly recommend watching The Reset Masterclass replay.

This is perfect for you if you're feeling stuck, unsure where to start and in need of some focus. I will show you how to shift your mindset, create momentum and stay on track.

1:1 Coaching Waitlist

I will be back in Jan and opening up just a few coaching spaces as I integrate running my business and being a mum.

If you’re wanting to go deeper and have my one-to-one support, sign up to my coaching waitlist and you will be the first to know when spaces become available.

And with that have the best end of the year!!! Keep taking those little steps forwards, celebrate everything you’ve achieved, challenge yourself to little experiments and choose something new to believe.

I can’t even describe how excited I feel, not just about having a baby but also how I am evolving right now. I can’t wait to share with you when the time is right.

Sending so so much love 💗

See you on the other side,
